Swimming swimming in my swimming pool!

With Todd being away for work in Timmin's , the kids and I needed to go out and be active, so I planned a walk through a trail on the Base so that Loralai could ride her bike without having to stop at every street corner, and then over to the new splash pad in Alliston.

So we head over to Fox's bakery and deli to pick up some items for lunch, and over to pick up grandma Brenda who wanted to come along, and we headed off to the base. We get there and unload the stroller and Loralai's bike, start our journey down the paved trail, and then I make the mistake of saying "Loralai I wonder if we will see any deers today" and that was it, she probably stopped double the times she would had if we have rode around the neighbourhood , and kept looking in the bush and panicking everytime she heard a noise...so we only walked for about 30 minutes then packed it up and went to the splash pad.

Well we arrived at the "new and improved" splash pad to find out it looks like it has been there forever...and to top it off they had not yet turned on the water, so we text Carrie to see if we could go swimming in her pool instead, she said yes, so we headed her way.

We stopped by the new house since it is on our way back into Barrie, and they have the frame of the models homes done, and are now working on the second (5 in total), so that was an exciting part to my bust of a morning plans lol.

Hudson for the last several months has been afraid of the bath, like scream his head off afraid, until Thursday night when he finally did not cry and looked as though he enjoyed the bath again. I was still reluctant to take him into the pool for the first time since I did not want to traumatize him since we just made so much progress in the bath department...but I took the risk and it paid off! although he held on tight, he actually had some fun! Not to mention looks adorable in his swim suit and life jacket!

such a very determined big sister helping Hudson get into his life jacket!
little cutie ready to swim.

Bummed that I was not able to take any pictures of us swimming, but I was in the pool as well having fun, and Samsung might advise against swimming with my Galaxy S5 lol. The bust of a morning actually turned out to be so much better day, we even went to Moose Winooski's for dinner :)
