New Bikes!

We took a trip to Black Tooth Grin Bike Shop today, and purchased some new bikes for the Baker household!

Loralai needed a new bike desperately, her knees were basically touching her chin while she road her current bike. We only got that bike for her last summer, but this little girl is growing like no one's business and ended up going from a 16" bike to a 24" bike in one year! Yes, she is already in the last size of bikes for kids at just 7 years old! The purchase may have been pricey, but her new found confidence in riding is priceless. Loralai's smaller bike being the incorrect size made it difficult for her to ride correctly, which lead to frustration and disappointment, but because the new bike fits her, she is a bike riding machine now!!

Todd has always wanted to get a beach cruiser,  and for a while now he had been eyeing up an all black one that Black Tooth had on display...so today we got it! It is so fun to ride! It's nice that Todd and I are close in height so that we can share bikes easily, in a few years we will likely add a good quality mountain bike to our now growing bike collection.

There are some trails near our new house; one really great one is on the Base, it is paved so we can easily ride in the evenings and on the weekends together. We also picked up a bike rack to make transporting the bikes simpler. 

So excited for our new purchases today, they promote a healthy lifestyle, so the investment is worth it! :)
