I think it is a right of passage to bath in a sink in this family! I was, Loralai was, and Hudson has been since the beginning. At about 9 months old I transitioned Hudson from the Puj to the regular bath tub, and I wouldn't have at all but he had grown too tall for the Puj so it seemed like the next step to go into the bath tub...but after the first few baths Hudson started to hate the bath, and he would scream like crazy each and every time for months and months. It was not until recently that he started to be much calmer in the bath again, but one day last week I was at my parents picking up the kids after work, and I went to wash my hands and Hudson wanted me to hold him, so I placed him down next to the kitchen sink with his feet in the sink while I washed my hands. He really liked playing in the water, so I allowed him to play for a while, and then his pants got wet, so I took them off...and then I decided why not just give him a bath right in the sink since he was enjoying himself so much, then it would also save me some time when he came home.
So now I think that after work baths in the sink at grandma's will become a thing! I know that Hudson starts daycare on the Base next week, but at least for the next month we have to pick up Loralai from grandma's so baths in grandma's sink will continue...I will also likely start just giving him baths in the sink at our house too, but grandma's and papa's house has a better faucet head for bathing!
