All week both Hudson and I have been fighting a head cold, nothing too serious just a conjested, running nose, tired kinda cold. Mine went away by the end of the week, but Hudson seemed to be the same, but getting a little more clingy and fussy/cranky, and if you know Hudson he is usually happy and for the most part even tempered, so it was out of the ordinary for him. So after yesterday at Loralai's birthday I decided that I would try and get him a doctor's appointment today. I was able to get him in for 11:20am, my mom and Todd took him since I was at work (Todd was actually going for his bad back) and it turns out he had a bad ear infection in his left ear.
Poor little guy, he had no fever or was not pulling at his ear at all, he was just eating less then he normally does (if that is even possible), I seriously thought that they would say it was from his eye teeth coming in. I felt like I had a mommy fail today. The doctor perscibed him antibiotics, and suggested I give him some Advil to help take the edge off.
On a side note we found out that my tall little man weighs in at 20lbs on the dot! We need to get him eating more somehow!
