Build it and we will come!

I cannot believe that we just signed the papers on the building of a new home! This is a brand new experience for us and we are so excited.

There is so much to do to get our house ready to sell, so much planning, dreaming, and impatiently waiting for our new house to be built! On paper we are scheduled to move in on May 20th 2016, and that feels like forever away. The builder is Cassavia Estate Homes, and our model is The Cedarwood . We will have a total of 2000 square feet,  an island in the kitchen, a mudroom, and most exciting of all 2nd floor laundry!

When we move it will mean a change of schools for Loralai since we will be moving out of Barrie, I am nervous about her having to leave her friends, daycare, and everything she has ever known, but Loralai is a strong little girl...I feel that she will be able to adapt well, and make friends quickly.

Hudson will be going to a daycare on the Base starting in September, so he will continue to go there when we move.

We won't be just down the street from my parents which will be an adjustment for the kids and I, but we will be just 10 minutes down the road, so I know we will see them often still.

One of the things I am looking the most forward to is hosting my own events (birthdays, holiday's, etc.)...right now our townhouse is too small to accommodate a large group of people, so my poor parents have had to co-host with me, but with our new home they will be able to just come over and enjoy!

I feel so very blessed that this is our next adventure!  I will update lots along the way!
