I am so proud of Loralai for making such a grown up decision today to donate her hair to Locks of Love. If you are not familiar with Locks of Love it is an organization that makes real hair wigs for children who have lost their hair because of cancer.
Loralai does not like having her hair brushed because of knots, and well with long hair there is a lot more room to hide knots in, so she wanted to cut her hair to make it more manageable, and in return provide some hair to put towards a wig for a girl who needs it way more then she does.
She was able to donate 12 inches (the minimum is 10 inches), and her new style sure does suit her! it will be much cooler for this coming summer as well!
Locks of Love recognized her donation by sending her this certificate of appreciation!
